Sometimes I get stuck in analysis paralysis and never get a start. The best method to attain a personal objective is to write out every conceivable step that must be taken. Then, prioritize those steps based on what needs to happen first. The objective is to always move forward.
Most business advice will tell you to commercialize your passion. They suggested asking yourself these questions:
I answered the questions, and it prompted me to start this endeavor. Once I had the idea, I evaluated whether I can do it.
I interviewed several people and suppliers. Most of them were way out there in total pricing. I narrowed it down to three, and then to one.
After three months of planning the business, I went ahead with it.
I took a little of my savings and self-funded it. This way, I retain entire control over the business. I also assume all of the risk, so I was being careful not to spend more than I can afford.
