There are countless things for which one can feel grateful. I compiled a list of my greatest blessings. The idea is to provide you with the motivation to discover them on your own.

I am thankful for...

• my family, although they are all in heaven
• my close friends, good neighbors, and my friends in the blockchain
• my church and freedom of religion
• the chance to give back
• my health condition, despite it not being perfect
• my home
• my job
• my academic training that landed me my forever job
• my financial savings
• my reliable vehicle that brings me to point A to point B
• technology
• the convenience of utilities
• clean water and air
• a restful night of sleep
• general peace in the country
• my Yorkies, and even when they have all gone they had kept me company for 15 years

This is the story of Thanksgiving in America:

The first Thanksgiving took place in 1621, when the Pilgrim settlers of Plymouth, Massachusetts, invited the Wampanoag to a harvest feast. The meal invite was to thank them for their help in planting crops, and a warm friendship budded between the two people groups^{1 2}. However, the story most people heard about Thanksgiving from a young age is not the full story. It is a simple version of the story where a group of Pilgrims, fleeing religious persecution, sail to North American and settle on Plymouth Rock. After a hard winter, they celebrate a successful harvest with their new neighbors, Native Americans².
