Dixie is 547.43 miles from where I live in Northern California. The Dixie Fire has been burning for three weeks now. Today is the first day that we seeing and feeling the effects of the fires.

I know the skies are blue. But I couldn't see it. The sky is slowly being covered with smoke. It is undeniably smoke as the odor of smoke is very strong.

I don't know how it will be by this time tomorrow. Perhaps winds will come and blow it all away.

In the meantime, the smoke covers the sun.

I am praying for the families and the firefighters safety, and hoping the fire would be contain soon.
