I attended a wedding anniversary of a sorority sister and her husband of 25 years. We got-together in their house this past weekend, Friday evening and Saturday. The two-day affair were attended by their closest friends. It was intimate, small, and so much fun.... lots of reminiscing!
Their house is located way up on the mountains in a city overlooking the San Franciso. It had its own microclimate... chilly, yet sunny... above the marine layer.
The only curtain in the house is in that one spot where a neighbor can potentially take a peak of them. The rest of the home had no curtains.
The living room was sunny the whole day, with the shadows moving from one side to the other. The house is cantilevered with four floors. This is just one little segment of the house. Actually, this house is massive!
Outside, they have the 180 degree views of the San Franciso Golden Gate Bridge stretching towards the Oakland-San Franciso Bay Bridge!
This is my entry to Show Me A Shadow- Round 209.
From this second floor balcony, you can see forever.
The Oakland-San Franciso Bay Bridge
as it snakes its way to Treasure Island.
The magnificent San Franciso Bay Bridge,
gateway to San Francisco from Sausalito.
Oh, how I miss San Francisco!
I wonder if I'll every live there again.
