Anime includes numerous and different genres and subgenres that appeal to specific and individual demographics and tastes. It has always been part of a positive cultural influence with animation and art around the world.

The list of Anime genres include Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Magic, Military, Music, Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi (Science Fiction), Horror... and many others.

And there's lots of merchandize to go with the genres. I visited a gathering of Anime enthusiast this weekend, which was well attended.

There were young and old people and many more in between. There were contests on art and costumes.
