The emu is a large bird of Australia; the largest bird is the ostrich which is found in Africa. Emus can run very fast, about 30 miles per hour. It swims too! But it does not fly.
Emus are iconic birds of Australia and it is found it it's National Coat of Arms along with the Kangaroo.
