Silver coins from the island nation of Niue are a wide range of coin designs from traditional commemorative designs to fantasy themes like Star Wars, to cartoon themes like Disney, and much more.
Many of Niue silver and Niue gold come in colorized finishes that make the coins come to life. The beautiful designs and finishes of the Niue coins make them desirable and collectible. The Niue coins are minted by The New Zealand Mint and usually come with premiums.
I am essentially a stacker and I lean towards coins with reasonable premiums. I also like American iconic designs. So when Niue came out with a line of Disney themed coin that met the above, I concluded that collecting the series will be within my goals.
This stunning .999 fine Silver coin features an image of Mickey Mouse from his first film, "Steamboat Willie" from 1928.
