I am not comfortable with old coins that I don't know much about. But I do enjoy them very much. So I purchased from one of my usual online dealers, which make me a bit more at ease with them.

This is an old coin is from Hungary. It is from the Renaissance era and was one of the most important trade coins of central Europe and was used in large scale day-to-day transactions.¹

The obverse shows the fourfold curved coat of arms: Hungarian Árpád stripes, Hungarian double cross, Dalmatian leopard heads, Bohemian lion; in center chest shield Austrian bonds.

The reason why I like this coin is the fact that it has the Madonna and the Child Jesus on the reverse! I could relate to this coin because of it.
