The Empire (russia) Strikes Back

I have been thinking about this for some time and would really like some feedback from the Steemit community on this.

Some time has now passed since we bombed Syria and the Russians had said that they had implemented a predetermined plan as a response yet we have seen nothing or at least they have not allowed anything to hit the mainstream media.

So here is what I've been thinking. Russia and it's allies China and Iran own a lot of US Treasuries as well as US stocks, what better way to hit back at us.
No one gets killed WWW III is not triggered. A concerted effort by these 3 countries in a sudden selling spree would bring us to our knees. Russia saves face because they did something, all be it not military but the effect would be far more effective. But you say they would never do that, they would loose to much money. If your China or Russia you might be thinking a collapse is iminate anyway why not get something as apposed to nothing and if you time it right and your the first to sell you get the best price. For them it would be like a windfall for us more like a waterfall.

Just some rumblings rolling around in my head. Please let me know what you think.
