So today’s country is....
Yep you guessed it the UK.
There are so many lovely coins from the UK, the Queens Beast series is a phenomenal one, but I though I’d start out with something vintage.
So today I am showing off a 1941 Silver Half Crown. The obverse has an uncrowned King George the VI. While the reverse has a Quartered shield of arms flanked by crowned royal cyphers, legend above, denomination and date. There were nearly sixteen million of these coins struck. But how many of them look like this one still....
