Evening everyone ….
Bright and early start today. I arrived at the rip out/install at 6:45 this morning. I quickly unloaded the cabinets and tools packed in my truck. Then began the rip out. After taking all the upper cabinets off the walls. I loaded them up in my truck and headed back to the shop for the rest of the base cabinets and pantry cabinet.
By noon I had all of the cabinets removed, and the remaining ones broken up and loaded into my truck for the ride home later. After a brief break for a double protein shake, I set up the laser level and shot all my lines to begin the installation.
I set all of the base cabinets, wall pantry and the entire island cabinetry. I began the installation of the upper cabinets, then the countertop guy showed up to template the base cabinets and island for the quartz top that is being installed.
I organized my tools, cleaned up everything to make it look like I wasn’t even there, then I headed home unloaded the remainder of the cabinets from the rip out. I loaded the last of the upper cabinets to complete the install tomorrow.
Anyway….
Today I'm showing off a sweet vintage bar from the Mother Lode Mint. This is a silver bar, which I don’t own many of, I prefer rounds. But it’s a really cool design and it’s “The Prospector” so I couldn’t resist. This one wasn’t cheap, from what i remember.
