You are in Canada. Here in the US if you sell to a coin shop, you get a better sell price if they are in capsules and look new. As for bars and world gold coins they don’t care at all.
I have been converting my post rewards to Litecoin and then sending it to my wallet. Then I convert it to coins that I think will 8-10X. I’m with you 100% on holding my metals. I’d never by paper gold or silver….
