Tip: I don’t know if any of this is available by you. But I’ll give it a shot anyway. Hopefully you have a spreader already. If not buy one not a drop spreader but a broadcast spreader. Much more even coating and no burn out. I also don’t know the size of your land so I’ll use 500 square feet as the guide, multiply as necessary. Per 500 square feet: 1 bag of pelletized lime, the ground up lime is a mess to work with and makes big clouds of white mess. Spreaders here have number dials, I use it on 4 for this. Water your lawn to get the lime absorbed. This neutralizes the soil to help you grow grass. Give it about 4-5 days to do it’s job. Buy a quality starter fertilizer, again I don’t know what brands you have but I’m sure it’s available. Spread that at a rate of 6 on the spreader. Water that well. The next day put down a good grass seed. If you have access to bales of hay. Lightly spread hay over the seed to help keep it moist. Water once per day before it gets to hot out, I did mine around 7am. The grass will 100% grow. Do not worry about weeds this season. Let the grass grow in as best as possible first. In the spring buy a fertilizer/weed preventer before they bloom. Wait a few weeks and then sees the areas that need it following the first steps above. Full yard of green grass.👍
