They were running ramped in the late 90’s. Causing all sorts of issues. There was an article in a publication stating that PCGS had rejected over 1,000 fake 1916 Mercury dimes in the last 90 days. That was back then not now. Finding a raw in great condition now is almost as hard as hitting the lottery.
