Afternoon everyone….
Yesterday PeakD really screwed up my day BIG TIME!!! I had a very good and quite interesting post for May the fourth be with you, which took me quite some time to write. I had it scheduled to post in PeakD for 12:25pm yesterday as I typically do. But when I went onto Hive an hour later it wasn’t posted. I signed back into PeakD and it was totally gone, nowhere to bee we found. So I had to scramble, which I hate doing.
On a different note….
My last post about the shop build was that they were going to start digging on Monday. Which they did, the perimeter footings have been dug and the rebar is in place for the cement to be poured after it is inspected.
It was originally scheduled for an inspection on Thursday. But my contractor had to cancel it due to a family emergency. So the inspection is now scheduled for this Tuesday.
Here are some pictures of the digging and the perimeter footings.
The building is going to be twenty six feet wide by thirty six feet deep. That is the dimensions of dig in these pictures.
Since they had anticipated an inspection for Thursday, all the supplies for the footings and foundation were delivered on Friday. There will be three course of block buried under the ground, with three course of block exposed above ground. This will be the starting point for the framing of the building.
That’s pretty much everything on the build so far.
