Afternoon everyone ….
To me there is nothing worse then changes to a job after something has been done. Well yesterday on my current bathroom job that’s exactly what happened, not once but twice.
The walls of the bathroom have been painted for over a week now to the color that was chosen. I just finished tiling the floor and putting up all the fixtures, I am ready for the vanity to go in. When the homeowner decided she wants different color walls.
Not only is the color now changing, but the molding in the room as well. What’s worse is that the molding they are going to is the one I originally suggested, which makes it worse in my opinion.
So now instead of putting the vanity in tomorrow. I now have to take down all the fixtures, remove all of the molding. Go pick up the paint and the new moldings. Then paint two coats on both the walls and molding. Then install the molding and put the fixtures back up before I can move forward on the job.
This is a three day set back, which now Carrie’s into my next job. I’m not happy
