Today was a full day of running around. Had tons of errands that I needed to get done that I’ve been putting off.
While I’m not going to vote you with all the details of my errands. I thought you might like to hear about my treasure scored today......
I did some quick work early this morning before any of the places that I needed to go opened for the day. I stopped at my favorite local deli to grab me a breakfast sandwich named ”The Terminator”.
It’s a major league sandwich composed of the following:
A totaled bagel (I chose an onion bagel)
Two eggs (choice of how you’d like them)
Four strips of bacon
Two slices of cheddar cheese
Four slices of Taylor pork roll grilled
One breakfast sausage patty
Topped with two hash browns
While the fat boy in me was craving this sandwich, I totally forgot to take a picture of it.... I promise I will next time and post it.
While waiting for my sandwich to be made a guy paid for his stuff and I heard the sound of silver hit the coins in the drawer. I immediately walked up to the register and asked if I could have the coin. All the employees know me and the kid handed it to me. I handed him some useless fiat for it.
Well what did I manage to get....
A beautiful Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar is what I got.
It’s by no means a collectors piece but it’s not in horrible shape either. And it’s 90% silver...😃
His loss my gain.....
