Afternoon everyone….
Well it’s been a pretty bad week all around. For me personally I had a fellow squash friend die of Covid complications. Went to the wake yesterday evening. He was only 54 years old, left behind a wife, a 17 year old daughter and a 20 year old son. His daughter is graduating high school this year. The poor kids.
On the way home from an estimate yesterday. On route 80 I picked up a shard of metal in my tire. Just over a thousand miles and already I need a new tire. Not in stock right now either so I’m driving on a full sized spare. That’s one good thing about trucks full size spare no little donut tire.
We are just at the beginning of a nor’easter. The storm is hugging the coastline it’s suppose to drop tons of snow. My area is in the 12”-18” zone. But Long Island, and the Connecticut, Massachusetts coast are supposed to get blasted with over two feet or more.
Speaking of blasted….
Precious metals took a major pounding this week with the strengthening dollar. Gold is down nearly $50 on the week. Silver has gotten crushed, down just under $2 for the week. What a complete joke…..
