Greetings, friends. Another illustration is done for the board game project working with @manoldonchev. This time the challenge was to make the pines more like silhouettes on the background which in blue tunes. I started with the first layer by making the sky. Then I painted the pines by spilling blue and purple tunes. After the paper dries out I made the shadows under the pine branches. Then I put a little white color mixed with blue and green to achieve a snow effect. In the final, I had to make the ravens. I have never painted a flock of birds. It had to start from afar and twist towards. I did not want to focus on the pine in the front line but only to involve the spectator with a low horizon. I love this watercolor paper because if you want to remove something, you can do it even when the paper is dried. And there is also another good point that if you want to make some area much bright after the paper is getting dry you can do it if you put a little bit of water on the area and remove the color.
