My partner @nikkicole and I decided to go for our first #camping adventure of the season at Arlington Lakes, BC, Canada. We have a favorite spot at one of the campgrounds that sits on a small peninsula jutting out into the largest lake.
This is an absolutely breathtaking spot with an almost 360 degree view, neon pink sunsets and gentle breezes throughout the day. Arlington lakes is situated along the trans #Canada trail system, so there are plenty of trails to #hike! The lakes are also perfect for fishing and Kayaking. Come join us on our weekend adventure in Paradise!!!
The water here is crystal clear, on a sunny day the reflection of the bright blue sky on the surface is quite stunning to say the least!
This is a panorama of the view from our campsite, taken at about 8am...a beautiful sight to wake up to!
A shot from the end of the peninsula where we were camped, this is usually where people launch small finishing boats or Kayaks.
A view from the main beach/ boat launching area. These rocks make for a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery. We had a great time swimming here as well..the water was actually pleasantly warm for this time of year! Refreshing, yet not too cool. Perfect for a reset on a hot day like this...
“The forest was not dark, because darkness has nothing to do with the forest—the forest is made of life, of light—but the trees moved with wind and subtle creatures.”
