While Isao Takahata is a good writer and director, his films are my least liked Ghibli movies. I still watched and enjoyed all of them though.

A while back we watched all of the Ghibli movies in chronological order. Porco Russo and Howl's Moving Castle remain favorites of mine. My Neighbor Totoro is also notable as Totoro became the Studio Ghibli

Metrosol lol... I prefer safety boots when it comes to any shoe issue. They are surprisingly comfortable, tough and waterproof. I either wear a pair of safeties or go barefoot.
