This week's theme of Qurator’s Art Walk is Halloween. Since I didn't have time to make a new art and the time is running out, I wanted to post my old work once again. I named the characters “The Depilitos” (2013). They are a cute vampire couple.
Actually I made this character not for Halloween, but for my prewedding poster. Because my partner and I both like horror stuff, so I made both of our characters to become chibi vampires. Hopefully this is still in the Halloween category *cross finger
Beside normal pre-wedding photoshoots, I also make Halloween-themed pre-wedding pictures. Since it was "impossible" to make scary vampire pictures to display on the wedding day, I made cute vampire pictures, to make them more "wedding-friendly". And of course it represents our characters and describes our daily life.
We both like rock music as well. So I made this vampire couple performed together in a gig. The boy plays the guitar, the girl sings. But in real life, my husband used to have a band and he was a bassist, while I was only like singing karaoke with a mediocre voice 😝
