Hi fellas,
Have you ever thought about what it is to feel the variable speed of time ? Well i feel sometimes time go past like a F1 racing car. Other times it is just a bull cart. Slow and painful. There has been a lot of research on what it is in reality. I mean the the space and time continum. Einstein's theory of relativity beautifully explains it. The concept of time is not a rigid one but is very fluid.
Today i am talking about my trip to the Mountain peak of Triund. A very famous spot for people who like to do easy tracking. Triund sits at the foot of Dhauladhar range in Himalays in Kangra District in Himachal Pradesh. At 2828 meters, it is at moderate height.
The track starts from Mcleodgunj. The sister town to Dharamsala ( capital of Dalailama in Exile, or seat of Govt of Tibet in Exile).
Dharamshala in itself is a beautiful town. Filed with Buddist monks and monk kids. Who look super cute and the town is very friendly.
The lofty mountains you can see from the cafe in Mcleodgunj is simply amazing. You would love to drink Tibetean Chai ( Tibet version of Chai/Tea). There are amazing Himachali and Tibetean food available there. Though a lot has been commercialized there, but you will still find something around your taste.
One advice stay away from Curio's Shop. They all are hell bent to take money out of your pocket.
So now Pictures time.
The journey : I was with my friends so here is the pic of Socially distanced picture of us peeing together !
Pic 1: Sunset in Mcleod gunj. I was sitting at the cafe at Mcleodgung and sipping my tea and i saw the most amazing sunset of my life. There is no way picture can do justice. Camera Failed me at the Dynamic range and i could not capture the true essence of the sunset. But none the less I was able to capture something.
Pic 2 : The way of track.
Walking was fun, most of the part is it is a stroll in a park. 9 Kms long stroll but none the less very entertaining one. See the pictures. I thought Sheep has more than me ! :P :P :P
Pic 3: The nght at and the following morning. it took me about 4 hours to complete the track. It was nice and refreshing. I spent night on the top of the hill in a tent, Temp dropped to -4 centigrade and i was shivering the whole night.
Here are some shots from the top:
After that it took us 4 hours to come back down to my hotel or the room i rented at hotel. It was fun and you should visit that place too
