It's all about the timing. Instead of an image file, I opted for a gif that changes after 15 seconds. So, hopefully, right when you got to Mindy's dialog is when Mary faded out.
Boom! Invisibility, baby!
That GIF was on a single loop with a 15 second delay, so Mary won't be coming back. Actually I guess if you want to watch her disappear again, you can just refresh your browser page. Might have to clear your history for the last 15 minutes, also.
The good news is that I can create a post like this here on my Hive blog. But after thinking about it, I realized I won't be able to do it on the Real Superheroine's home site, because each chapter is in a vertical scrolling format. So Mary will disappear before they ever reach this panel. So I'm going to have to go with a semi-transparent Mary for the home site panel. Like this:
