Who is Fantomah?
She's the only heroine (in the house) that does not have a real name. In her first interview all she could come up with to say about herself is that she is the Guardian of Africa. So, was she not some blonde chick wandering around the jungle that just somehow got skull-face powers? Or was she just manifested directly from the land itself to become its guardian? We're not really sure.
But when you strip her away from her power, you are apparently left with a confused, nameless, helpless woman in a dress.
And the greatest tragedy is that now she can't explode a pirate...
