I've had a lot of free time this week, so I've been watching tutorial videos on digital art and taking some time to practice my rendering. Here's a fire demon from that effort. It's much more detailed than my usual sloppy spray paint method of shading/highlighting, but man is it time consuming. Or maybe it just takes more time because I'm not used to it. I certainly wouldn't be able to produce my webcomics at my current rate of one per day if I put this much detail into the shading process.
Anyway, happy with the results except for those lines on the shoulders that look like scars.
