Alas, poor CannonBots, we barely knew ye.
One of the first comics I read when I was a kid had The Spectre in it. Back then, he was a spooky dude in pajamas with weird powers, not one of the most powerful entities in the DC Universe. The villain was a guy that made mannequins come to life to do his bidding, and Spectre just melted them all. That was a spooky scene to me as a kid, and that predated the Nazi-melting scene in Raiders of The Lost Ark, I believe. Mannequins are spooky, they've got those plastic smiles perpetually on. The only thing worse is a ventriloquist dummy.
The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley is a webcomic about a reality television show following the lives of seven public domain superheroines that all live together in the same mansion... in Hive Valley. A very elite community.
