For those of you wondering about Long John Silver's order last panel about switching to grape shot... Grape Shot is made of clusters of small metal projectiles. In a pinch, cannoneers or cannonbots can substitute just about any kind of scraps of metal for ammunition. So instead of firing cannon balls, the cannons fire clouds of shrapnel that tear through flesh. This wouldn't do much damage to ship hulls but was designed to kill sailors. Basically like using bird shot instead of solid slugs in a shotgun. Which is perfect for shredding a little black dress against an invulnerable super body.
