For Kickman and Java I write out the pages in advance on a little text file on my phone... Usually while I'm waiting in line somewhere. With Kickman, usually while I'm drawing I will think of an extra joke or two to include in one of the panels somewhere.

Real Superheroines though is pretty much just spontaneous free drawing and free writing. I only have a basic idea where it's going. Like I know what I'm doing for the very end of this chapter, but I didn't know when I started it how it would end. Kind of a dangerous way to publish probably. Easy to get trapped in a nonsense plot device, but I'm sure they could joke their way out of it...
