I've always hated the "see invisibility" spell. Even if you happen to have it in your spellbook, the only time you think to cast it is when someone next to you dies by an invisible something or other. It needs a duration measured in hours not minutes to be useful. AAAnd it's the same level as invisibility... so if the wizard wants to save his own bacon, he could always just cast invisibility after being attacked by an invisible creature and they both just go home in safety.
