If you ever feel like binge-watching 8 seasons of a cartoon series, I'd recommend Avatar The Last Airbender. Starts off like a kid's show but turns into a pretty good drama. The last three seasons take place about 70 years in the future and one of the things I like is how technology changes. One of the main characters is a fire-bender (and apparently lightning is the most advanced form of fire), so he works shifts just blasting lightning into the electrical grid. It's pretty cool watching the change from medieval magic tech to steampunk magic tech.
