No one got hurt in 80's TV. Like in the A-Team when they would fire off 600 rounds of M-16 ammo and no one would get shot. One episode, the bad guys crashed their helicopter in the side of a mountain, tumbled down the cliff face, then they all emerged unscathed with some burn marks on their clothes.
