If I've learned one thing from action movies, it's that when the hero is electrocuted by bad guys, minutes later they are fine and strong enough to defeat all their enemies. See as reference: Lethal Weapon 1. Perhaps also, Tango and Cash. Um... I'm sure there are more examples.
