I think the MCU has a shortage of popular villains, so they just let heroes fight each other.

Just to be clear, SkyCam is a drone, there's not a cameraman flying up there. The hazard pay would be cost-prohibitive even if the show goes to number 1 in the ratings. Not that drone pilots aren't skilled artists in their own right. I listed to an audible book written by one of the first predator drone pilots in the US Air Force, and it was very interesting reading.
