My friend had a hissy fit because the Ripley-Clone in Alien... Resurrection (? the one with Winona Ryder...) had some of Ripley's memories... Even though the scientists mentioned that the Xenomorphs have memories passed down in their DNA. Which explains why a newborn one can stalk like a Green Beret and knows the layout of a starship and finds all the best hiding spots. Which to me is perfectly reasonable since a newborn of many animal species' automatically know how to eat food that doesn't kill them...
