That's another one for the vampire authors to discuss. After all, they do take their clothes with them when they turn to mist. Would they have the option to just leave all their clothes behind? Seems they should be able to, otherwise they couldn't turn to mist to get out of a net, they would just take the net with them, right? Vampire physics is hard...
