Another example of Things That Matt Works On While He's Bored. I posted a pseudo comic cover a couple weeks ago drawn in (virtual) conte crayon. It was fun, so I made this one also.
For those unfamiliar with the term "hood-rat" or "hoodrat" according to the Oxford English Dictionary is-- Whoops! Nevermind, apparently the online Oxford English Dictionary requires you to pay for a subscription in order to get word definitions. Seriously? It's not like you have a corner on the market, idiots.

Right, so Little Red Riding Hood-Rat! Now everyone knows what it means. And everyone knows that Oxford English Dictionary's business model is stupid if they think they can get someone to pay $10 to get this info.
And it just now occurred to me, why was she called "Riding" Hood? I never read the original fairy tale, but I don't think she was on a horse. And was she related to Robin Hood? So many questions.
I think I may end up with a whole series of Conte Comics. Which sounds like a decent brand name.
