Fantomah was possibly the world's first female superhero. A blonde woman in a black swimsuit that walked barefoot around Africa, then to protect the land turned into this blue-skull-faced horror that slaughtered evildoers. Like, poachers.
Superheroes tend to suffer from an anomaly known as power creep. Where they get more powerful over time (and depending on the writer, gain totally new and different powers). Superman went from leaping tall buildings to flying through space and shoving the moon around. Wonder Woman went from being kind of fast and tough to being able to trade punches with Doomsday.
So it stands to reason, that Fantomah is the MOST POWERFUL HEROINE OF ALL. Just from age. Seriously, it works just like dragons and vampires.
So here she is dressing down the Spectre from DC Comics, one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe.
