I am Matt S. Law. I hopped onto the Steemit platform a year or two after it launched and migrated here over to Hive after the shakedown. I understand very little about blockchains or coding or stuff.

I am an author (self-published two books and ghost wrote 1 for a local celebrity in Hawaii),
An artist (you won't be familiar with my work unless you travel around Hawaii and notice the bamboo designs on people's glass doors),
An actor (background work on Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum PI along with several movies filmed in Hawaii, also a principle on Augie TV Season 1 and Morgan's Corner the Series on YouTube).
A Game Designer (published a bunch of D&D 5E supplements with 00games)

Then about four or five years ago I thought I might as well expand my resume by drawing some comics, so here I am.

Despite that big list of stuff, I have not made big money doing any of those things. My two current webcomics are the adventures of Kickman, the ongoing story of a hero and his loyal sidekick struggling to make ends meet in the dog-eat-dog capitalist world of superheroics.
It publishes every Sunday both here on Hive as well as at Kickman's home page.

I also publish Java Jaguar, the true story of a talking jaguar cub found in a local coffee shop. Java publishes every Wednesday.

I've been posting updates twice a week for these titles pretty regularly... usually without any sort of buffer, because I'm overconfident like that. Also, my latest project which I was probably going to launch here on Hive: The Real Superheroines of Hive County. A comic about a reality television series starring seven superheroines living in the same mansion.

No home page for this as of yet. I was hoping to do about a dozen pages then crowdsource to put an actual print comic together for the first issue, then maybe get it going as a proper monthly title. Who knows, anything is possible.

All the characters above are Public Domain characters, although several of them have had their costumes updated so they may not look that familiar. From left to right: Moon Girl, Mary Marvel, Fantomah, Sheena Queen of the Jungle, Miss Victory, Miss Fury, and Phantom Lady.

I've been posting miscellaneous pages from this here on Hive over the past few months. It's been slow going though, because of so many other things going on.

Anyway, glad to see some Hive comic communities popping up. Looking forward to 2020.
