Here's stuff from my actual art classes from 1990-1994 at the University of Hawaii. All the originals have been dumped, but I took photos of most of my work for nostalgia's sake.
Conte Crayon
Assignment was to draw 4 eggs as part of a lighting study. Because I was a rebellious artist even back then (probably more so back then) I made a face on one egg.
Ankh and hieroglyphics. Conte crayon only comes in three "colors," Black, White and Sepia. It was tough work trying to make that bronze color.

The shadow lurking on the right is my friend Brian, the guy on the left was from a figure drawing by a (I think) a famous Spanish artist who may have a J in his name, the middle girl is "the girl that got away" from my college art classes. Perspective Studies. These are actually mock ups of one of my art finals. I was just showing how the panels needed to be displayed hung from the ceiling. Forces the audience right up into the display. The actual pieces were 2'x3' acrylic paintings on foam core of Golden Dawn Tarot cards. Those have been lost to time.
Colored Pencil
Assignment: Self-Portrait of yourself 30 years in future. This is how I visualized myself, because it's actually pretty close to 30 years now since this was drawn.
And here's a selfie of me right now. If anything, I look younger than I thought I would. I just turned 50 last month. My secret to looking young? "Be half Asian."
Also, I can never row a beard that is that full.
Rembrandt Pastels
This was my medium of choice, I'm surprised I don't have more of this.

Pile of trash on fire. Because I'm me, I made my flames blue and purple instead of orange and yellow. This was an actual still life. The professor loved to haul trash out of the dumpster. Then one day we set it on fire and took some photos to use as a drawing source.
Life drawing, couples posing. If you look closely, there is also a reflection of myself in the mirror, wearing a blue bandana-headband. It's my nod to Jan Van Eyck.
Reincarnation. The wolf dies, the bugs and bacteria eat him, he decomposes, feeds the soil, and a flower grows from the decay.
