Greetings my dear readers, welcome to a great meeting through my blog.
Creating an ideal environment for people with ASD is very important so that they can feel comfortable and safe, precisely that is one of the aspects that makes them different from others.
They require a space where they do not have loud sounds that disturb them, that is why this year for the first time during the 16 years that the vacation week has been developed for the children of this community, they were enabled an ideal place, which was called special guests.
When I heard this name mentioned, I only imagined that they were going to be a group of children who would come from another place to participate in our event, but it was not so, this name was assigned to all those children who had a special condition such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and were encouraged to live this magical experience.
During 4 days they were attended in a personalized way and a different environment was created for them to feel comfortable and with the freedom to interact and obtain their own learning. While the other children were received on the court with choreographed dances, theater, animation activities and much more, they received a portion of this activity in a classroom, away from the loud noise, screams and noise produced by the others.
They were all seated in the classroom and were placed in a lepton to play videos of dances and teachings with a moderate volume in order to fix their attention on this activity. At first we thought that we were not going to have good receptivity from the community that has children with ASD, but we were wrong, they fully trusted the skills of the entire team that was leading the event and did not take their children to get out of their daily routine and venture to share with other children and live new fun and lucrative experiences.
It should be noted that we have staff prepared to serve the children and I am talking about a co-worker and excellent human being, who does not have a degree in pedagogical specialist, but in her compensation has sought to train with everything related to the disorder for 16 years, as one of his nephews is autistic and she has been his private teacher to guide him in each of its areas.
So she designed various game strategies in the classroom, where they could develop different activities to achieve a particular goal and it was very pleasing for everyone to see how they had the best disposition to carry out the activity, they followed the instructions given and most importantly we could see how they had fun without any problem during the exercise.
They loved coloring and getting on the boat, since part of the teaching of the vacation week was directed to the fishing activity, they pretended to be fishermen and to be sailing on the river. We are aware that we must improve in the process, but we are happy to be able to add a nice experience to all the children who attended the event, but very cordially to all the brave special friends who preferred to break that great barrier of fear and accompanied us with the best disposition to learn and make this week something beautiful for all of us who were part of the team.

ROMPIENDO LOS MIEDOS // CREANDO UN AMBIENTE AZUL [ENG-ESP]
Saludos mis estimados lectores, bienvenidos a un estupendo encuentro a través de mi blog.
El crear un ambiente idóneo para las personas que presentan la condición TEA, es muy importante para que ellos puedan sentirse cómodos y seguros, justamente eso es uno de los aspectos que los hace diferente a los demás.
Ellos requieren un espacio donde no cuenten con fuertes sonidos que les perturbe, es por ello que en este año por primera vez durante los 16 años que se ha venido desarrollando la semana vacacional a los niños de esta comunidad, se les habilitó un lugar ideal, el cual fue denominado invitados especiales.
Cuando escuché mencionar este nombre, solo imaginé que iban a ser un grupo de niños que vendría desde otro lugar a ser partícipes de nuestro evento, pero no fue así, este nombre se le asignó a todos aquellos niños que tuviesen alguna condición especial como por ejemplo los (TEA) Trastorno, del espectro Autista y se animarán a vivir está mágica experiencia.
Durante 4 días fueron atendidos de manera personalizada y se les creo un ambiente diferente para que ellos se sintieran cómodos y con la libertad de interactuar y obtener sus propios aprendizajes. Mientras los demás niños eran recibidos en la cancha con coreografías de baile, teatro, actividades de animaciones y mucho más, ellos recibieron una porción de esta actividad en un aula, alejado del fuerte ruido, gritos y bulla producida por los demás.
Eran sentados todos en el aula y se les colocaba a reproducir con un volumen moderado en una laptón, vídeos de baile y enseñanzas con los cuales se lograba fijar su atención en esta actividad. Al principio pensamos que no íbamos a tener buena receptividad por parte de la comunidad que tienen hijos con TEA, pero nos equivocamos, ellos confiaron plenamente en las habilidades de todo el equipo que estuvo dirigiendo el evento y no llevo a sus niños a que salieran de su rutina diaria y se aventuraran a compartir con otros niños y vivir nuevas experiencias divertidas y lucrativas.
Cabe destacar que contamos con personal preparado para atender a los niños y les hablo de una compañera de trabajo y excelente ser humano, que no tiene un título de especialista pedagógica, pero en su compensación ha buscado formarse con todo lo relacionado con el trastorno desde hace 16 años, ya que uno de sus sobrinos es autista y ella ha sido su docente particular para orientar lo en cada una de sus áreas.
Por lo que ella diseño en el aula diversas estrategias de juego, donde ellos pudiesen ir desarrollando distintas actividades para lograr un objetivo en particular y fue muy grato para todos ver como ellos tenían la mejor disposición para concretar la actividad, atendieron las instrucciones dada y lo más importante pudimos visualizar como se divirtieron sin ningún problema durante el ejercicio.
Les encanto colorear y subirse en el barco, ya que parte de la enseñanza de la semana vacacional estaba dirigida a la actividad pesquera, ellos simularon ser Pescadores y estar navegando en el Rio. Estamos consiente que debemos mejorar en el proceso, pero nos sentimos contentos por poder sumarle una bonita experiencia a todos los niños que asistieron al evento, pero muy cordialmente a todos los valientes amigos especiales que prefirieron romper esa gran barrera del miedo y nos acompañaron con la mejor disposición de aprender y hacer de esta semana algo hermoso para todos los que hicimos parte del equipo.
