Aceh is one of the regions in Indonesia that has so many natural attractions. One of the favorite natural attractions in Aceh is the beach, maybe you only know the beach in Aceh which is located on Sabang Island, but in fact there are so many beaches in Aceh that are cool.
Lampuuk Beach is one of them. This cool beach is located in the district of Aceh Besar, where the distance is not so far from the city of Banda Aceh. Every day the beach is crowded with local and foreign visitors. During the 2004 Aceh earthquake and tsunami, Lampuuk Beach was one of the beaches that contributed large waves so that almost all of the buildings around the coast were destroyed.
One of the charms of Lampuuk Beach is its sunset. From the shoreline we can enjoy clearly the process of setting the sun on a vast expanse of sea, so of course this moment will not be forgotten. The distance of the beach that is not too far from the city center makes sunset hunting very fitting to do here.
You only need about half an hour or approximately 15 km from the city of Banda Aceh if you go to mapuuk beach. Keep in mind that not many public vehicles go to Lampuuk Beach, so the choice is to use a private or rented vehicle.
