Fleeing a terrifying fog monster through shrouded streets, Hinako repeatedly died after hitting dead ends and getting caught. After multiple retries, she narrowly survived a desperate chase when a hidden ladder and Junko's timely help allowed her to escape the crushing mist onto a clear street.
A terrifying new nightmare unfolded as an evil presence manifested, forcing me to run for my life from an advancing fog monster. The atmosphere was intensely scary, heightened by incredible and unsettling background noises.
I sprinted as fast as I could, quickly losing track of the other two companions in the chaos. When Hinako encountered thick fog closing in from both sides, she was forced to alter her route instantly, knowing that hesitating meant certain death.
My initial sluggishness cost me dearly; the fog monster caught up and killed me, forcing a reload from the checkpoint. Anyway, the moment when Hinako was dying, it's visual was real scary.
Restarting the chase, I tried taking a steep path forward, only to find it blocked, trapping me between dead ends until the mist swallowed me again.
After a few more failed attempts due to choosing the wrong alternative routes and getting dragged back by the entity's pull, I refocused my approach, navigating the path with much greater care.
But as I chose the wrong path again and I knew the mistake was one way straight, I stopped there for the fog monster to get to me knowing there's no other way.
The fog monster grew increasingly desperate to claim me, nearly trapping me once more near a ledge. Just in time, Junko, though completely out of sight as I just heard the voice for once, lowered a rescue ladder down.
Though the monster violently yanked the ladder away, Hiroko slipped and barely managed to catch the edge of the roof, clinging on for dear life.
Miraculously, she survived the harrowing ordeal, breaking free from the suffocating pursuit and emerging onto a clean, open street untouched by the fog. Though she looked injured and weak at the same time.
