My god! It's been that long ago already? Played this in college! I remember how you can play on a LAN of some sort and i thought that at least calling your friends house with the modem would be enough to do a 1v1. I learned the hard way. Like i said i was in college and each room had an extension. My friend lived directly above me on the 2nd floor as i was on the 1st floor. i was too lazy to take my laptop to his room to do the matches. I tried calling his room using the special extension. I kept calling and calling and we couldn't get a proper connection so we gave up. A few minutes later i get a knock on the door!? I open the door and it was a police officer. "Is everything ok here? We kept getting 911 calls from this location". Feeling all the sudden embarrassed I told the cop what happen! I noticed that since we have to dial 9 to get an outside line my computer was preset to call AOL since that was a regular local number. I somehow forgot to turn off the dialing 9 part since i was calling an inside extension and his was 1124 and mine was 1109. The computer kept calling 911! The cops laughed and didn't do anything like giving a fine thank goodness.

Other then that funny/embarrassing story I loved this game! I still play this game when feeling nostalgic. Me and my friend did team up back in the day and played in a league under the 2v2 category. We weren't the best but was fun to play. It was this and Counter-Strike that got me into FPS games in general.
