Nokia's problem was that the company was and an optimized and well-oiled machine for managing the logistics of a large portfolio of mobile phones. A software company it really wasn't. Nokia's phones represent a completely different era than Apple's. When Apple rolled out its first iPhone, it was pretty much game over for the mobile division.

The old retail model is in deep trouble because of Amazon. That's for sure. I wonder about the future of education.
