No wonder Putin is amassing troops on the Ukrainian border. He knows the Russian economy is in for some hard times and he knows he'll have to manufacture a crisis to give the Russian people something else to think about. But this only going to help in the short term. If this is just a show, it might work but if large scale fighting breaks out, it won't be good for Putin when the bills come due and when the body bags start coming home.
