This is just a short message to say thankyou to everyone who has supported me on this wicked platform and also to the developers for creating it. Other developers are even starting to use Steemit as a foundation for their own inventions, some already completed and running smoothly. It's amazing we can all come on here for free and be able to see such detailed thoughts from people all around the world. I guess there's that incentive for sweet cryptocurrency that makes us put a little more extra effort in than we'd normally do for something like Facebook or Reddit.
I've been here for over three months. It takes time to adapt to a new social media system, but Steemit has definitely been worth it. I've chucked time and effort in, I've gained cryptocurrency, sometimes I gained nothing at all, but as time's gone by and my followers and my rep has been growing, I'm finding that people are giving me more of a chance here, lending an ear more often and giving me an upvote. To any new Steemers, I'll just say 'be patient and your time will come.' I often go through a lot of newbies posts and see stuff that belongs way up there, but simply because they haven't got the followers yet, people can miss them. Be strong and charge like a Viking!
