I joined Hive over 3 years ago, once Steemit, now Hive. I started my journey into content creation, not knowing how it would work out.
I wanted to write about stuff.
I wanted to take pictures of stuff.
I wanted to learn about stuff.
I decided that content creation was hard, networking was easier, and learning how use all the tricks and tools here challenging, but not hard.
I decided that indeed I could make money selling my content here, and it was very invigorating.
Selling the treasures of my mind.
But it has not always been a bed of roses.
There were thorns to prick my finger,
There were small holes to twist an ankle,
And there were times I fell into a whole.
But like a kid struggling in two feet of water at the kiddie pool..
I remembered that if it got to difficult…stand up.
Friends and acquaintances I did meet along the way…
People came and went…

Soon I had a lot of tokens and a sizable following.
All from selling the treasures of my mind.
And then it happened.
Justin Sun happened, and my life was changed.
It was the best of times to see people pull together.
It was the worst of times, as people turned on each other.
It was bad, sad and in the end perhaps good.
On the other side was a new thing…yearning to be better.
No doubt better in some ways, perhaps many.
I must admit much of the change went right over my head….
I read the words, but knew not what they meant.
I tarried perhaps to long amongst the comfortable and the familiar, but soon I too went over to this new thing.
It emerged from the old thing.
And once again it started.
I wrote about stuff.
I took pictures of stuff.
I learned about stuff and I wrote articles explaining stuff.
Once again I began to sell the treasures of my mind.
People still come and go.
