Social Media is a fact of life

We are all consumers on online news, sports, business and financial news.
And we are all both consumers of free content and our consumption is transformed into data snd sold to advertisers and we get paid nothing.
Endless studies have been done to show how much internet content society consumes, and the current valuation of Facebook, in the billions of dollars, tells us the value of our data, in U.S. Dollars.
The paradox is that our content, and our attention generate immense wealth, but we don’t share in it at all.
Plus we are deprived of the basic rights of property ownership and free speech .

The big promise of tokenized social media is that you still create and consume content online, but you have the chance or opportunity to get a share of the money it generates.
