Do you have the strength of a single candle?

I recently received an award from Steemitboard for making 12,000 upvotes! I was very happy to learn that I had reached this number. I wanted to use this occasion to make a point. I didn’t spend any money or Steem from my Steem wallet in these 12,000 upvotes. They all came from the rewards pool. These rewards also regenerate every day. Every 24 hours I regenerate my voting power and I can upvote more people using Steem from the rewards pool. That’s the amazing think about the Steemit Blockchain, which underlies the Steemit platform!
This reminds me of a saying about happiness.
It goes like this: “Just as a single candle can light one thousand other candles without decreasing it’s lifespan, so too can a single person give happiness to a thousand persons without decreasing their happiness.”
